Description

Operate injection molding presses and/or drill presses within the specified cycle time. Perform visual inspections, checks, and tests in the manufacture of custom molded devices. 

Essential Responsibilities:

- Operate injection molding machines

- Inspect product according to quality plan

- De-gate, trim, and/or perform additional secondary operations according to the control plan

- Package product to customer specifications

- Label product containers with ID label according to job traveler

- Identify molding problems and notify molding technician for corrections

- Perform assembly of product as directed

- Complete daily production activity log

- Maintain stable mold cycle

- Maintain clean work area

- Other duties as assigned by management

Requirements

- High school graduate or GED equivalent

- Ability to lift fifty pounds or more

- Ability to understand visual part aspects

- Ability to understand basic safety standards and procedures

- Must be able to speak and read English proficiently including good communication skills, both written and oral.
